I was never bored. Your Shopping Cart is empty. Years is an Action-Adventure game that combines fun, familiar and family-friendly LEGO video game play mechanics with the storyline and characters of the latter half of the Harry Potter universe. In the upper right corner, blast the three pygmy puff cages to unlock George Pyjamas and use Dark Magic on a creepy music box to find a Gold Brick. Use Reducto on some cups on the table to get an oilcan.

Begin by practicing on the wall to the right to make a flower. Then blast two red tables, one on each side, and use the pieces to make a ship. The flower will become a fan that propels the ship across the room, where it crashes.

Use its pieces to make a vacuum, which sucks up the barricade blocking you from the upper level. Next, use Diffindo on another wall to make an escalator up to the upper level. Here, repair the broken pipes, blast the stopper at the pipe's opening, and then use Crookshanks or Pigwidgeon to go through the pipe and knock down a chandelier to break the barricade.

At the third wall, make a fish for the tank and, voila! Follow Nick down to the Entrance Corridor, where you can now use Diffindo to access Entrance Courtyard, and follow Nick through the Owlery Courtyard but no owlery this game!

Arthur Weasley, Kreacher, Sirius Black. In the first room, you need the doorknob that Santa is flying around with. Use Wingardium Leviosa to turn the knob on the closet door. Use the pieces that come out to build an oven, out of which will come a cake, to distract Santa.

Blast five small wreaths on the walls to decorate, and unlock Arthur Weasley. Have a Strong Character pull open a door in the back room to go up to Sirius' bedroom, where Buckbeak wants some chicken.

Blast the cabinet in the rear left corner near Buckbeak to find an apple. Use the Apparition Point to get to the other side of the room and blast a box to find a banana. Walk to the bottom right corner and blast a chest to find a chicken leg.

This does not have to be done in order; whatever you blast last will contain the chicken leg. Bring the chicken to Buckbeak to get the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest. In the next room, Kreacher has again taken the knob - and the stairs.

Just rotate the heads on the wall to bring the stairs back. Rotate the first of three purple wall plaques. Use Dark Magic to get a ladle out of the cabinet under the stairs. Blast the lock off the room on the right to enter the dining room, where you need to find three parts of the portrait on the wall to unlock the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest.

Begin by giving Molly the ladle. You may now use Diffindo to find a Parseltongue wall; use the wall to unlock the first portrait piece. Use the Deluminator to take the light from the bottom end of the table to the upper right corner to melt a piece loose.

Blast the dishes to get the final piece. In the third room, Mrs. Black's screaming portrait will keep you from passing, so Harry will have to sneak by in his invisibility cloak. Once across, blast the cabinet, construct a curtain pull, and use it to close the curtains over the portrait.

Have Hermione use the Rune Cabinet to get the knob. Rotate another purple plaque. Use Dark Magic on an evil-looking cabinet to find Kreacher. First, blast the pot along the left wall and have Sirius transformed into Padfoot dig part of the picture out of the dirt.

Rotate the last purple plaque in order to get the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. Fill the tank on the left to float out Sirius Black. Interact with the picture on that wall to remove the rug, revealing a shiny metal opening in the floor.

Down in the subterranean room, blast the metal wall on the right to save a Student in Peril. Use Diffindo on the left wall, then levitate a key into the chest to get the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest.

On the right wall, have Harry speak Parseltongue to get another piece. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the clock to retrieve the last of the pieces on the larger square. Blast the chest to get the last three, colored pieces.

With the family tree assembled, you can have a nice chat with Sirius. We now return to the Room of Requirement, where the D. You'll need to find four of the dementor-manikins to ensure everyone has a turn: Grawp wants a series of loud toys; once you find and build them, Grawp will be officially befriended.

Back in the castle, Nick will lead you into the Classrooms Hall, where you will need to hand Snape his ladle. You will then enter another legilimency lesson with Snape, and witness Snape's worst memory. In the memory, levitate the pieces of the crest into place to get through the door, then blast Snape out of the locker he's hiding in.

Once outside, use either Sirius or Remus to turn into an animal and dig up the three patches in the ground. Build shears to cut down the branch Snape's sitting on and then duel with him. This will unlock Legilimens so that Harry can now read minds.

First, use a Weasley Box and blast some blocks out of a tree that you can use to make a hammer and smash the barricade to the right. Clear the plants in the middle of the next area to reveal a cauldron; make a Strength Potion and open the grate in front of another Weasley Box.

Grab a pair of Sticky Trainers and walk up the wall behind you, where you will find another Weasley Box with a rocket to blast away the next barrier. With a pair of Sticky Trainers, walk up the wall on the far right while another character holds it up.

There, find three pieces to construct a large rocket, and Weasley Boxes will be unlocked! You begin with Harry, Hermione, and Ron in Umbridge's office, where you need to find the Floo Powder in order to communicate with Sirius.

Use Dark Magic to unlock the cuckoo clock and then blast it to get Professor Umbridge. Begin by levitating the bottle of milk left of the door into one of the cat plates. Now rotate the plate below so that the picture on it is oriented the same way as the others in that row three turns ; the cat will walk through it down the row and a plate will fall off the wall.

Levitate the fallen plate into place and then rotate it; the cat will walk through again and knock some pieces onto the floor. Build and rotate this last plate to allow the cat to walk into the picture over the fireplace and knock down the Floo Powder.

Out in the Forbidden Forest, walk to your right, to the ledge, use Wingardium Leviosa on a nearby flowering plant to get LEGO pieces, and build a flower platform. Stand on the flower platform while another character levitates it to reach the ledge above.

There, use Wingardium Leviosa on a plant to release the vines blocking your path. Down below and further on, you will need three pieces to complete the purple flower below the ridge: Out of the Beaded Bag, pull a spider-bouncy-ride.

Ride it, using the joystick to bounce, until a Slytherin Hogwarts Crest appears. Up on the ledge, use Reducto to pull the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest out of a chest. In the next area, blast some plants to get pieces to make shears, then use the shears to cut down the large blue and purple flowers and remove the barricade.

At the far right, use the Weasley Box and launch a rocket into the log at the far left end of the area to release a Student in Peril. In this same corner, use Aguamenti to sprout four flowers on the rock wall and then blast them to unlock Emmeline Vance.

After this, you come to the area where Grawp is. Blast away some plants to get the parts to complete the Bell Bike, then ride it around to the illuminated spots to scare away the birds. To the left, use Wingardium Leviosa to clear a flowering plant.

Behind it, use Aguamenti to sprout a large purple flower, then blast the flower to unlock the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. Once the barricade is clear, use the Bell Bike to wake Grawp and lead him to Umbridge.

You are inside the ministry with a group of other students, looking for Sirius. In the first area, you need to make an Explosion Potion to clear the barricade: In the next area, after you have confronted the Death Eaters, the shelves of glass balls are falling all around you, so get ready to run.

At the start, blast five glass balls to unlock the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest. As you run, blast five large glass balls to get the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest. You will pause briefly between some fallen shelves; beware, there are Death Eaters attacking you and as soon as you move forward, more shelves begin falling on your head.

On the left, levitate two pieces of a large glass ball together and then use Dark Magic to get Lucius Death Eater. In the final area, the D. You will need to find a series of objects to levitate and throw at those threatening your friends this will involve blasting, digging, and building.

Dig a Student in Peril out from under some rubble. This scene ends with Harry and Sirius dueling Bellatrix and Lucius. In the final scene, Harry and Dumbledore are battling Voldemort. First Dumbledore fights off Voldemort, who then comes back with a snake of flame.

Put out ten small fires, caused by the snake, to unlock the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. All the way to the right in the central area is Fudge Wizengamot. The snake will cause some pieces to fall, which can be used to make a sprinkler; together, Harry and Dumbledore turn the red wheels on each side of the hall to douse the snake.

Voldemort is now on the fountain; levitate a ball of water onto him to stop him temporarily. Voldemort will then hurl shards of glass at you. Dumbledore produces a shield to protect both of you while Harry waits for blocks to fall, which you can use to build little castles to hurl at Voldemort.

Do this three times to send Voldemort packing. You are in the charming village of Budleigh Babberton, where you need to find Horace Slughorn. You begin outside, with lots of fun things to blast.

Use Lumos on some vines hanging from a wall to release pieces to make an Apparition Point, which Dumbledore can use to go to the other side of the barricade. Blast a lock on the gate to get into the yard, then blast a lawnmower, which will open the gate so that Harry can come in.

Now you need to make a Strength Potion to open the house door. Open the garage door to get a cauldron out of the car. Blast a statue to make a birdbath; a bird will come to it, dropping a snake tooth for your potion.

Blast the arm bone out of some plants. To the left, have one character turn on the sprinkler while another levitates the wheelbarrow; the sprinkler will water the flower bed, giving you a flower. Before you go inside, blast five garden gnomes to unlock Slughorn Pyjamas: At the far right, use Dark Magic to access a path, at the top end of which is a Quibbler stand.

Go back to the other side of the barricade and use the spectre blocks to build a cement mixer, which spits out a blue chest. Take a pair of hedge clippers from the chest and shape the hedges on either side of the gate to unlock the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest.

At the far right, have Arthur repair a lawn mower and then mow five patches of grass in the yard to unlock the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest. Left of the door, dig up a Beaded Bag plate and pull out a flower pot; blast it to sprout a flower containing the Milk Man.

In the house, repair the piano to get the handles to the doors. Once you open the door, a cut scene will start. After the scene, Harry and Slughorn need to clean up the house and put Slughorn's pictures back in place. Use Dark Magic to open a door on the left and go into the bathroom.

Fill the shower with water to float out the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest. On the left, blast some jars to make the bath bubbly, blast the bubbles, and build the toilet to unlock Dumbledore Cursed. Blast the fireplace, then sweep up the dust, to find the first picture.

Put the chandelier back up to drop the second picture. Blast away some metal pieces, then repair the table to get the third picture. Upstairs on the left, use Dark Magic to move the large rocket and access a Weasley Box.

Further left, I don't recommend using the Rune Cabinet, but go ahead if your curiosity is just too much to bear. Grab some Sticky Trainers and go all the way to the right to walk up the Weasley Wall. Walk to your left and, past the Apparition Point, you will find a Student in Peril.

Continue left and use Diffindo to make a bouncy-toy and bounce down to the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest. To get out and follow Malfoy, go upstairs and blast the clown while another character opens its mouth. This will open the curtain on the Vanishing Cabinets so Ron can go through and use a Weasley Box to get a small rocket.

Attach the rocket to a tightrope figure that will roll up in the extreme bottom right, and it will drop a cover down below. Go down and put the cover over the baby dragon and it will blast the door open.

En route to Hogwarts, Malfoy waylays you at the train, but Luna comes to your rescue. You can now get a pair of Spectrespecs from any Quibbler stand; they allow you to see and build with spectre LEGO pieces, just look for the blue and purple sparkly areas.

In the castle, Slughorn is the new Potions teacher, so it's time for class. In the Classrooms Hall, put on a pair of Spectrespecs in order to build the two statues on either side of the central gate.

Once levitated into place, they will open the gate and give you a Gold Brick. Today's lesson is the Draught of Living Death; find potion ingredients throughout the room by blasting, building, and hissing.

After class, you meet with Professor Dumbledore to see some of his memories, beginning with Tom Riddle at the orphanage, and then the students take a trip to Hogsmeade. In the Three Broomsticks, you need to get Slughorn a mug of butterbeer.

Go upstairs to blast the rubber duck on the wall, go downstairs to retrieve it, and then give it to the wizard in the portrait to the left; he will toss you the tap and you can fill Slughorn's mug. Find three mugs and place them on the front table to get the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest: In the back downstairs area, put out the fire to unlock Cormac Suit.

Upstairs, use Dark Magic to enter a side room. Bounce on the couch to reach Madam Rosmerta. Transfer light from one end of the room to the other to melt loose a Beaded Bag plate. Pull out a broom, which will sweep the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest out of the chimney.

In Slughorn's room, after his dinner party, you need to help clean up. Blast the cart along the back wall; it will zoom forward and knock loose the pieces to make a sink. Use the broom to the right of the table to push the dishes off the table and then levitate them into the sink.

Levitate the sponge to wipe down the table. In the upper left corner, use a Strong Character to pull open the cupboard and give a hat to the wizard in the portrait; he will give you the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest as thanks. At Slughorn's Christmas party, Hermione is trying to hide from Cormac and you need to track her down.

First she will be under a lampshade, which you need to levitate off. Next, hang up a pumpkin to get her out of the tree. Finally, she'll be hiding under a platter on the table. After rooting out Hermione, pick up the two green handles and us them to open the curtain at the back of the room.

Use Dark Magic to go out onto the balcony. Light five lamps to unlock the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest. Using the Rune Cabinet, build a gargoyle that will help the Student in Peril off the ledge. Using the Beaded Bag, find an anvil and then bring it inside to pull open a curtain.

Behind the curtain are pieces for a Quibbler stand. Grab a pair of Spectrespecs and use the spectre pieces in the middle of the floor to build a portrait over the fireplace. Levitate the portrait around and say 'hello' to unlock Harry Christmas.

Charms Class again, and time for a brand new spell! Use Aguamenti to extinguish the Rune Cabinet so Hermione can use it and get a green piece for the tank at the left end of the room. Use the steps in the tank to reach the upper level.

Use Aguamenti to get blocks from the picture to build a watering can. Use the watering can on the giant flower to get the green key to unlock the trunk down below, in which Professor Flitwick is trapped.

You begin in Arthur Weasley's shed, where you need to put clothes in the mad washer to placate it so you can get out the door: Reducto the lock on the cabinet at the rear right; repair a vacuum and then use the resulting pieces to make a sewing machine; blast a fan to clear some papers off a table on the left.

Blast four rubber ducks to get the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. Once you get out of the shed, the burrow comes under attack by Death Eaters. Clear some firewood to the left and have Remus dig up a patch of ground to reveal a handle.

Attach the handle to the shed and have Remus pull it open to reveal a Quibbler stand. Get a pair of Spectrespecs to build the water vehicle. Put out the flames to your right and then assemble the shower head in the bathtub to free Arthur.

Use Arthur to repair the water vehicle so you can drive it around. Drive the water vehicle to the right to put out a bank of flames to continue on. While you have the Spectrespecs, build a handle for the wringer and use it to unlock Molly Weasley.

Use the Deluminator to take some light from over the door to the house to a lantern in the middle of the yard to unlock Bill Weasley Wedding. If you steer the water vehicle to your left and put out that bank of flames, Arthur can repair a carrot-thrower that will knock a Death Eater out of the air and rescue a Student in Peril.

Repair the pipe and dig out the entrance to it, then send a pet up to knock down a basketball. Dunk it to get the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest. The next area is out in a field, where you need to have Remus dig up the pieces to make a pair of shears and trim to plants blocking your path.

Use Lumos to scare away the vines and then have Remus pull down the row boat. At the far right end of this area, dig up the tree stump to unlock Tonks Pink Coat. Past the boat, in the far right corner, dig up a Quibbler stand.

Use the spectre pieces at the far left to build a pump and drain the pond so you can reach the Apparition Point. Past the reeds at the rear far right you will find Harry and Ginny, and enter a battle with Bellatrix. She will throw things at you, which you will need to levitate and throw back; while she's stunned, blast her.

Back in Charms, you finally get to learn Reducto so you can blast shiny metal objects. You have to blast five four down below and one up above to unlock this charm. Ron has been taken out by a powerful love potion and Harry and Slughorn need to make an antidote.

First, place two pieces of sheet music on the piano: The piano will play, making the people in the portrait on the wall happy, so that they will throw down a leaf you need for the antidote. Use Reducto on some cups on the table to get an oilcan.

Together with Slughorn, use Wingardium Leviosa on the fireplace and the last ingredient will drop out. Use Spectrespecs to build a portrait of Lily, just for fun. Use a Strong Character to pull open a chest on the right, build the piano-playing skeleton inside, and unlock Professor Slughorn.

After turning the knobs on the fireplace, extinguish the flames and dig in the ash to unlock Ginny Weasley. Use the cauldron and Ron is then cured, but immediately poisoned, so now you have to deal with that. Assemble the pieces in front of the fireplace, position the resulting moose head, then blast the chandelier to drop the green key for the cabinet.

Rifle through the cabinet and shove a bezoar down Ron's throat. After he's cured, Ron and Harry follow Malfoy down the hall into the girls' bathroom. As soon as you enter the room, you engage in a duel with Malfoy; once you vanquish him, he will run off to a bathroom stall.

To flush him out, so to speak, fill the tank at the right end of the room, while your partner holds it open. Once it's full, have Ron send Pigwidgeon up the pipe to tilt the drain and then use Wingardium Leviosa to tilt the other drain; the flowing water will knock down some pieces to build some dynamite.

Flush the dynamite down the toilet to blast Malfoy out, and then duel him one last time. Use a Strong Character to pull down a sink in the upper left corner and jump in the resulting geyser to reach the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest.

All the way around the bathroom stalls, use Dark Magic to reach the urinals, where you can free a Student in Peril and Ron can transfer some light to the sinks second on the right to unlock Draco Suit. Now you have to hide the potions book in the Room of Requirement.

You need a Strength Potion to pull down the first barricade to the right, so first, collect all the ingredients: Make three puppet shows to unlock the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest: Next, use Reducto to blast some shiny metal objects to get pieces to make a chandelier, then use the chandelier to knock down a Weasley Box.

Use the Weasley Box to make a Portable Swamp that will tear down the second barricade. Use the next Wealsey box to send up a rocket that knocks down some pieces; use Reducto on a statue on your left and get the rest of the pieces to make a gramophone, which will musically remove the next barricade.

Use Dark Magic to play the harp, putting the wizard in the portrait to sleep and gaining a Slytherin Hogwarts Crest. In the last area, use Diffindo to make an anvil to weigh down one side of the curtain, and Aguamenti to weigh down the other, revealing the vanishing cabinet.

Professor Sprout, Fang, Hagrid. You begin at the greenhouses, where a rogue tendril has become a monstrous flower blocking the exit and you must blast its three large creepers to get out. Beginning in the greenhouse to your left, use Lumos to free the gate from some vines, blast some plants, and then levitate the resulting herbicide to kill the plants blocking the door.

Inside, blast the lock off the cage and kill the plant within it to release the first creeper. In the left greenhouse, Reducto loose a Quibbler stand and get a pair of Spectrespecs to build a box outside the door. Blast the box off the wall to unlock Professor Sprout.

To get the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest, use Wingardium Leviosa to make five large yellow flowers blossom, then blast their stamens: To the right, use Aguamenti to fill a container, which will water some flowers, which will lean aside to reveal a creeper, which you can then blast.

On your right down the middle path, levitate some pots out of the way to enter the right greenhouse. Levitate the colored barrels in front of the door to blast the wall and reveal the last creeper. Now go blast the three red stamens on the main plant to exit the area.

Out on the grounds, your objective is to make a device to drain the venom from Aragog's dead body. You are going to need to make an Explosion Potion, so use Diffindo to get the popsicle while you are in the first area.

At the top of the area you just left, the cauldron you need is stuck in the ground; chase the niffler around like a whack-a-mole until it pops the cauldron out of the ground. Off to your left, blast a spider out of its web.

Uphill to the right of the spider is the bunch of flowers you need. Once the potion has exploded, build the first of two platforms and carry up by Aragog to put on the pump, which you need to free from some vines. Off to the right, levitate some plants out of the way to gain access to another area and have Fang dig up the second platform.

Once both platforms are on the pump, jump on it to get it working. While in the first area, use Dark Magic to take two rocks off the Beaded Bag; pull out a box of fruit and blast it to unlock Hagrid. Blast the niffler once more after it knocks the cauldron loose to unlock Fang.

To the far left of where the cauldron was, use Dark Magic to move three rocks, dig up the patch of earth below them, and build a scarecrow to unlock the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. In the upper right area, pull a Portable Swamp out of a Weasley Box and then levitate a barrel out of the swamp to free a Student in Peril.

You begin in the cave where Voldemort has hidden the Slytherin locket. As Dumbledore, apparate to the central island and levitate the rock to raise a bridge for Harry to cross. On the other side, use Diffindo to make a torch and then light it and use it to scare away the spider on the rock face in front of you, revealing a ladder.

Use Reducto to clear the rocks from your path and Lumos to clear the vines from the Parseltongue Wall. Once Harry speaks Parseltongue, a staircase will extend down to the lower ridge, where you must place the squares of the Dark Mark plaque to open the door.

Use Dark Magic on the wall in the upper right corner to unlock Professor Dumbledore. Using the Beaded Bag plate on the island, pull out a bucket and feed the fish to unlock the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. In the second area, levitate some plants out of a pool to raise a Parseltongue Wall; when Harry repeats after it, it will release a broom, which you will then use to dust off some colored buttons on the ground to your left.

You must repeat the color patterns to raise a boat, in which you and Dumbledore cross to the main island. Use Wingardium Leviosa to illuminate five purple crystals in order to get the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest. In the third area, begin at the rear right, with Harry and Dumbledore each standing on a white button to open an area to the front right.

Retrieve the first piece from that area and place it on the green square in the middle, then stand on the white buttons to the rear left. Another area will open up at the front left; retrieve the second piece from there.

Use Dark Magic on three rocks - in the rear center and in each side area - to unlock Tom Riddle Orphanage. The next part is a bit tricky. Dumbledore must drink five times, but as soon as he begins drinking, dead bodies begin attacking.

Harry alone must defend Dumbledore and himself by blasting the bodies with Reducto. Do this quickly and pay attention to which direction the closest bodies are coming from because if they reach you, they will grab you both and drag you down into the water to die.

By the time Harry and Dumbledore return to Hogwarts, Death Eaters have infiltrated the school; Harry and Ginny chase them out onto the grounds. Begin at the rear of the scene and extinguish the flames in front of Bellatrix to get the spigot.

Carry it to the front right, fill a container with water, attach the spigot, and pump water onto the large fire below. At the far bottom left is a Student in Peril being menaced by a Death Eater. The level ends with a duel with Snape - the Half-Blood Prince.

It's time for Harry to say 'goodbye' to Privet Drive, but to make his escape, he will need some Polyjuice Potion: Put three pictures on the wall to get the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest: While you're in the yard, free a Student in Peril from the shed.

With the pieces from the shed, build a wheelchair and ride it over three sprinkler heads to get the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. In the front yard, you need to repair Hagrid's motorcycle before you can take off: Use Dark Magic on a neighbor's garage to find pieces to build a water rocket.

Fill it with water and launch it to unlock Mad-Eye Moody. Blast a sculpture in the Dursley's lawn and then dig up a garden gnome. Place it with the other gnomes to find the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest.

After a brief chase through London, you and Hagrid safely escape Voldemort, and it is time for Bill and Fleur's wedding. Scrimgeour has dropped by with Dumbledore's bequests, so Hermione can now use her Beaded Bag, and Ron, the Deluminator.

These are really going to come in handy when the wedding is attacked. Blast a flower stand to turn it into a rain cloud that you can levitate over the fire on your right. Turn the rubble from the first fire into the first of three bird houses you will build and blast to get the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest ; the other two are: While still in the first area, use Dark Magic on a wedding present to make an Apparition Point and apparate to the left.

Grab a pair of Spectrespecs and use the spectre pieces to play the wedding march - and unlock Ron Wedding. Extinguish the small fires in the next area to reveal a pink plate on which Hermione uses the Beaded Bag; in this case, to get a pickaxe, which she will use to make an ice sculpture to levitate over the next large fire.

Beyond that fire, use the Beaded Bag to find a water cooler, fill it with water, and use it to put out the last bank of flames. Ron can now access the lantern on the far right and transfer some light to the cake. Thus begins Year 7.

You can now apparate, and the main hub is no longer Hogwarts although you will be able to go back , but rather London and the forest in which you camp. Finding yourself on the London street, begin by going into the cafe.

You will be attacked by Thorfinn and Rowle in disguise and they will throw plates at you, which you will need to catch and throw back, and then blast them while their stunned. Begin by going to the right and using Reducto on two metal curtain pulls to reveal a red block wall.

Use Diffindo to make a Decoy Detonator and create a distraction. In the same corner, have a Strong Character pull open a box to find five rubber ducks; blast them to find the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest. Once the room is in chaos, walk to the rear and have Ron transfer light from one lantern on the left to another.

The light will cause the statue to drop his violin case; rebuild the violin to make music that puts the watchful stolen eye to sleep and you can get into Umbridge's office. In Umbridge's office, you need two purple keys to unlock the cabinet at the rear.

Have Ron and Harry levitate a shield and swords mounted on the wall to drop the first key from the ceiling; blast the desk to get the other. The locket is not in Umbridge's office, so you return to the hall.

Fill a watering can using Aguamenti to grow a flower, which clears out the rain in the next room so the guard can open the gate. In the elevator lobby, blast the lock off the center elevator to get the pieces to repair the pipe.

Have Ron send Pigwidgeon up to knock down some pieces that you use to repair the elevator you need to use. Down in the courtroom, you are being attacked by ministry guards; blast them until they stop coming and Umbridge starts throwing things at you.

Dodge the first two items, then catch the purple chest and throw it back at her; do this three times to take her out. In between bouts with Umbridge, you will be attacked by guards again and have to duel with Yaxley, and then finally duel Umbridge herself.

Once you defeat her, dementors are going to attack you en force, so start running. Right before the end of your run, a wider area with a statue will open up; run to the left, behind the statue, to get the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest.

You arrive in Godric's Hollow in the cemetery, where you need to find the grave of Ignotus Peverell. Lift the snow off five graves and have Hermione read the inscriptions on them; Ignotus will be the last one: Summary Most Helpful Recent Funny.

Risks, well years 7 5 potter harry lego can

The story begins with Harry and Dudley on a playground, and you need to use Harry's wand and Dudley's strength to get out. To the right, have Harry levitate some plants out of the way of a gate and then have Dudley pull the gate open.

In the second area, use Harry, then Dudley, to destroy the broken down car, then Harry again to make a bridge out of the pieces. Have Dudley open the gate across the bridge to get into the third area. Have Harry blast the carts off the ledge, knocking down differently colored and shaped blocks, then use the blocks to construct steps up onto the ledge.

In the first area, blast the sandbox to reveal a digging patch and then dig up a Weasley Box. Put a handle on the merry-go-round and then pull it apart to reveal Dudley Grey Top. In the second area, use Dark Magic to remove a grate and save a Student in Peril.

Use Diffindo to make a lawnmower that you can use to cut five patches of grass and unlock the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest: As soon as you enter the tunnel, dementors will begin to close in on Harry and Dudley. Have Harry use the patronus charm on them; they will overwhelm you anyway, leading to a cut scene in which Harry sends them off with his stag patronus.

The cut scene will continue to at the Dursleys' house, first with Dudley being ill, then with members of the Order of the Phoenix rescuing Harry. You resume control while flying over London with members of the Order, collecting coins as you go.

While on your broom, blast five buoys to unlock the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. You crash land in a park with Harry and Kingsley; the other members are scattered about and it's now your job to find them.

Beginning in the upper left of your screen, use Wingardium Leviosa to place two purple saw blades at the base of a tree; the saw will cut down the tree, freeing Emmeline Vance. Moving to the bottom left, use Wingardium Leviosa to assemble four pieces of a cart, from which Nymphadora Tonks will appear.

To the upper right, have Kinglsey use Reducto to blast the shiny metal padlock off the shed door, then use Wingardium Leviosa to assemble and raise a mallet to knock Elphias Doge out of the roof of the gazebo.

You now have enough people to collectively use Wingardium Leviosa on the statue to free Mad-Eye Moody. Use Aguamenti to fill a container on the left next to the benches and unlock Elphias Doge. Have Arthur repair a strange vehicle in the upper center and then use it to pick up five piles of garbage and unlock the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest.

As Mad-Eye blasts loose, his cane flies in the other direction; retrieve it for him and then walk to the illuminated spot in front of Number 12 Grimmauld Place. There is a brief cut scene in the Black house before you regain control with Harry and Arthur Weasley in the Ministry of Magic.

Use Arthur to repair a blue cart, which will release pieces from a fireplace, which, when built, will create a passage forward using Floo Powder. Turn the fountain off using the large red wheel; blocks will drop from the fountain spray for you to build and fly a paper-airplane-memo, which will tell the gatekeeper to open the gate.

In the elevator vestibule, use Dark Magic on an elevator gate on the left to find Arthur Suit. In the vestibule, have Arthur repair an elevator gate; inside this elevator is a briefcase containing a toad, which you will need to take to a nearby wizard.

He will then give you the blocks you need to create the missing piece of the elevator in front of you. The level ends with a cut scene of Harry's trial before the Wizengamot. Harry, Ron, and Hermione appear in Diagon Alley.

Continuing forward, you will reach the Leaky Cauldron; go in and then out the other door. Upon exiting the Leaky Cauldron through the other door, you find yourself on a London street. Walk toward the front left and you will find a closed gate down to the trains and a Station Guard standing next to it.

Toward the front end of the platform, use the blue machine to dispense a ticket; give the ticket to the conductor, and you're off to Hogwarts! The train drops you at the Hogsmeade train platform, from where you continue onto a path up to Hogwarts.

Along the path, find two wagon wheels to repair the cart and ride it into the castle grounds. After a short cut scene introducing Professor Umbridge, Harry and Ron find themselves in the Gryffindor dormitory. Follow your ghost guide, Nearly Headless Nick, down to the common room and give the girl at the door the flowers next to the fireplace.

In this lesson, your main objective is to collect all the ingredients for a Strength Potion hint: There follows a cut scene of class with Umbridge, the result of which is she bans DADA, and the characters lose all their spells except Lumos.

To get out, either Ron or Hermione will have to use their pet she can't take that away! Follow Nick out onto the grounds, where you will meet up with Luna behind Hagrid's hut for a lesson on thestrals. After giving each thestral its desired snack, follow Nick back to Gryffindor tower to found Dumbledore's Army.

You begin just outside Hogsmeade and the main gimmick is that each character wants something before they sign up for the D. First, you need to have Hermione use Crookshanks to dig Dean out of the snow, then hand him his wand.

He will break up some chunks of ice, which you can use to construct a bridge across the water. Blast four adorable baby dragons out of their cages in order to get the pieces to construct the other hog's head, then, with two players, use Wingardium Leviosa to open the gate.

Use the Quibbler stand on the left and then cross back over the water, assemble some spectre pieces into a snowman, and unlock Neville Winter. Up the hill, next to Madam Puddifoot's, blast Luna out of a barrel, then give her a pot of tea; she will set off a sequence of events that will melt the ice barricade, where you will find Neville.

Back down the path a little, blast open a gate and go into the yard to retrieve a shovel for Neville, who will then set up a cauldron. Retrieve ingredients from around the yard to make a strength potion, to pull over the wagons, to get flowers, to give to Cho.

Put the missing piece in the pipe and then have Hermione use Crookshanks to dig up pieces and knock one down from the pipe. In the yard where you found Neville's shovel, use the Apparition Point to get into the next yard over.

Use the gun-chair there to blast six pictures of Death Eaters and unlock the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest. Outside the Hog's Head, grab a pair of Sticky Trainers and walk up the Weasley Wall on the right, while another character raises it, to reach Hermione Scarf.

Assemble the Hog's Head sign and go in. Inside, you, once again, need to retrieve items for everyone. Use Reducto to unlock the cellar door, left of the bar. In the cellar, grab a pair of Spectrespecs, pull open the barrel in the bottom right corner, and assemble to spectre pieces to make a pump that will clear the water from the floor.

Now you can use the Weasley Box on the left and launch a rocket that will unlock the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest. Send a pet up the pipe in the upper left corner to knock down some jars and get the boiler going, then assemble the distillery and set both dials to match the picture on the left to brew up the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest.

Hop in the wheelchair in the bottom left corner and follow the resulting trail of coins to Cho Winter. Use Dark Magic to release a Student in Peril from the barrel in the bottom right corner. Back upstairs, blast the red and white table to turn it into a puppet show which you can use to get a Voldemort puppet for Ginny.

Have Hermione use the rune cabinet to get an apple for the hog's mouth, which will reveal a dementor, which Harry can defeat in order to give Parvati Patil a bone. On the left, blast the barrels to get pieces to make a picture, which will give you a phoenix feather for Seamus Finnigan.

You return to the Entrance Hall, where Colin is looking for his camera. Hand it to him to get a green key for the door to the Upper Hall. Here you will find Neville and the Room of Requirement, where the D. This is a combat dynamic used a lot in this game, so get used to it.

To begin the duel, you must enter the circle and press B. Your opponent will select a spell, and you must blast them with that spell, then keep tapping either X or A to knock them down; do this four times to win the duel.

The circle will change color and the correct spell will flash on your spell circle to indicate which spell to use, but it's also a good idea to press B to put up a shield while you switch to the right spell. After the lesson on dueling, Harry returns to his dorm, where he has a very bad dream.

You begin on the same playground as the first level, but now you are in a grayed out dreamscape. The goal in each brief dream scene is to detect and retrieve what each character wants; you must first use Snape to Focus, or the characters won't want anything.

In the first scene, use Harry to blast the merry-go-round and benches to get the pieces to build a bulldozer. Bulldoze the sandbox to reveal a cake for Dudley. Do a high bounce on the trampoline to reach Dudley's Gang Member.

Dig up a patch of earth to the front to unlock the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest. In the second scene, Number 12 Grimmauld Place, use Wingardium Leviosa on a doorknob to the left to get a duster.

Dust off the portrait to your right and the people in the portrait will give you the knob Molly wants. Use Reducto to unlock a cabinet on the right and then pull open a drawer to reveal Molly Apron.

In the third scene, the Room of Requirement, kill five fighting manikins to get Cho's wand. Blast six shiny metal objects with Reducto to unlock the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest. Put out the flames in the fireplace to release a Student in Peril.

In the fourth scene, the Ministry of Magic, just ahead of the start point, blast a container on the right side and a sign on the left to find pieces to make a net. Catch a paper-airplane-memo and take it to Fudge. Unroll five ministry notices on the walls to get the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest.

In the final area, walk to the upper end of the train platform. On the left just ahead of the start point, use the Weasley Box to get a pair of Sticky Trainers. Then walk to the very bottom of the screen and walk up the Weasley Wall while another character raises it to reach Snape Underwear.

Just before you reach Voldemort, use Dark Magic to stack some luggage on the left onto a trolley. It will crash into the wall, unlocking the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest. You can Focus on Voldemort to uncover his thoughts.

But what he wants is still a mystery. You will return to the dorm corridor, from which Nick will lead you down to Charms class to learn Diffindo. With this spell, you can utilize all the objects and walls made of red blocks.

Lift the snow off five graves and have Hermione read the inscriptions on them; Ignotus will be the last one: Use a Weasley Box to launch a rocket that will blast open the gate on the left.

Near the upper left corner, grab a pair of Spectrespecs and then use some spectre pieces on the other side of the gate to complete a monument to Jame and Lily Potter - and unlock the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest. In this same area, blast the statue on the left to unlock Lily Potter , and have Ron grab some light.

Take the light to a lantern left of the Diffindo wall to melt loose a Beaded Bag, from which Hermione will pull a gramophone. The music from the gramophone will cause ghosts to appear and do the Thriller dance - and unlock the Ravenclaw Hogwarts Crest.

In the upper right corner, use Dark Magic on a crypt to free the Student in Peril. Bathilda Bagshot actually Nagini in disguise will come up to you at this point and take you back to her house. You need to get upstairs to talk to her, so start by blasting the cabinet on your left.

A Beaded Bag plate will appear and Hermione will pull out a watering can; fill the can using Aguamenti and put out the fire on your right. This will release a giant set of false teeth, which will chomp through the books blocking the stairs.

In the upper left corner, use Dark Magic to open the door to the kitchen. The kitchen is a mess, so put the stinky things in the bin and then put the lid on to unlock the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest. Run a bowl through the wringer to unlock Bathilda Snake.

In the living room and kitchen, as well as upstairs, blast four spiders to unlock Harry Godric's Hollow. Do this three times to defeat Nagini and escape the house. You begin in the icy lake, searching for the sword of Gryffindor.

Start by levitating the giant octopus arm to pull down some ice, from which a swordfish will appear to cut a hole through the ice below you. Continue down, moving some green - and then some purple - vines out of the way. Blast three jelly fish to unlock the Hufflepuff Hogwarts Crest: In the second area, use Dark Magic to open a chest on the far left and unlock the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest.

Here your paths split and you must take turns moving forward. First, use Wingardium Leviosa on the lower path to life the rocks in the upper path so your partner can pass through. Then the person on the upper path needs to stop the flow of bubbles from above the crab will move out of the way of the person below.

Continue up into the large final underwater area. Levitate some nearby bait onto the hook in front of you and an anglerfish will come, dropping some pieces to make a hammer. Use the mallet on the large block of ice in the middle and release the sword.

Before you break up the large block of ice, use the mallet on a small piece of ice on the right wall to unlock Harry Locket. Back on dry land, you need to find the Parseltongue wall in order to open and destroy the locket.

To the front right, use Diffindo to make a torch and then use the torch melt a green piece out of a block of ice. Carry the green piece back to where you started and set it in its place to begin to raise the Parseltongue wall.

To your left, use Wingardium Leviosa on a bunch of flowers to make an Apparition Point and then apparate into a nearby corner. Scare away some vines and use the freed branch to reach the area above you and get the second green piece.

Place it to raise the Parseltongue wall the rest of the way. On the right, have Hermione pull a bouncy mushroom out of her Beaded Bag to reach the ledge above. On the ledge there is the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest.

Use Dark Magic to release the Student in Peril. Take Spectrespecs out of the Quibbler stand and build with spectre pieces on the ledge, to the upper right, and to the lower left to unlock Hermione Grey Coat. To the far right, levitate a snowman out of the ground to unlock Ron Underwear.

Now use the Parseltongue wall to open the locket. Once open, the locket-Horcrux unleashes the full fury of Voldemort's spirit, which will hurl skulls at you. Dodge them, and then, every third skull, an illuminated circle will appear; have Ron run up to it and swing the sword.

After the first time, spiders will appear, rendering Ron paralyzed with fear, so you will have to fight them as Harry. After the second time, pieces will appear for you to build a flower-fan-device; hop on and turn it toward the skull-whirlwinds to hold them at bay.

When the illuminated circle appears a third time, have Ron run up and swing to vanquish Horcrux-Voldemort. You've decided to go talk to Xenophilius Lovegood, but first you have to find the knocker for the front door by releasing three dirigible plums.

The one in the middle is easily released using Wingardium Leviosa. The one on the left is held by a bee; have Hermione pull an ice cream cone out of her Beaded Bag to lure the bee away. Use Aguamenti to sprout the dirigible plum bush on the right.

As each plum is released, it will crash into a kite above and knock down parts to make the door knocker. Down the path in front of the house, use Lumos to release a Student in Peril trapped by vines.

Blast five crows hanging around the yard to get the Slytherin Hogwarts Crest. Pull the five carrots on the right side of the yard to get the Gryffindor Hogwarts Crest. Use Lumos to release the Weasley Box on the left, then grab a pair of Sticky Trainers and walk up to the ledge.

There, use Reducto to unlock the Quibbler stand and grab Spectrespecs. On the ground, use Lumos to free up a patch of earth on the left, dig up a chest, use Dark Magic to open it, and then assemble the spectre pieces to unlock Xenophilius Luna.

They are ages 10 and 11 and I have found these games help them get along and laugh a lot more. Not to mention when they have to do things on the game to work together. Happy kids makes a happy mom!! Was this review helpful to you?

Yes No Report abuse. I am a causal gamer--actually besides the Lego games I don't do much playing at all. I don't know if there was just that big of a difference between the Xbox and PlayStation version, or if the improvement was the game itself--but the graphics and color were amazing!

It was worth every penny. I purchased this game at the beginning of February and we played for an hour or so almost every day--and finally beat the game last week! It takes awhile to get through all of the levels, go back and collect every Hogwarts crest, red brick, character token, etc.

I was never bored. After beating all of the other Lego games we played in the past, we have never gone back and played them for a second time. I think that I might make an exception for this one. I don't know that I will play the Years version again, but I will play this one more than once!

There were times in other Lego games where all of the sudden you would be stuck--behind an object or in midair or something This only happened once on this game--we destroyed a pile of objects and in a few minutes it reappeared, but couldn't be destroyed again.

And it was blocking our way--no other way around it. We didn't lose much progress. However, in the first Harry Potter game we found that the bugs increased if we had "Invincibility" turned on, so we did not turn it on at all during this game.

With "Regenerate Hearts" unlocked it not really necessary anyway. I highly recommend this game. I love this game! You should play them in order, but if you're going to do yourself the disservice of only getting one, get this one!

There's so much more! It's so good, I don't ever want it to end! Just like the books. But the games are very obviously based off of the movie, which is my only complaint, because as everyone knows, the books are SO much better..

The graphics, animation, and details keep improving with each new Lego title. What I like most about the Lego games is the number of hidden secrets which encourage the kids to explore every single item on the screen.

It's a must-buy for any Harry Potter or Lego fan. LOVE this game, I don't often play video games but the Lego series is great and so witty with its adaptations. I like that, unlike in newer games, the characters in the story sections mumble and gesture instead of having actual voice acting -- it's much more entertaining.

This game is mostly like the earlier years game, with a few improvements to game mechanics and additional locations. It's very fun to reenact the stories that you know from the books and films. It actually helps a lot if you know the story well to begin with so that you understand all of the detail in the game.

I got an awesome deal here for a used copy of Lego Harry Potter: I have been reading all the books and playing along with the game, and it's an amazing experience! I'm not a kid anymore, but this game is fun for any age.

I love that it follows the story movie version , they try to make the clothes similar, and they use the Harry Potter score by John Williams. I have the theme song stuck in my head all the time and I don't consider that a bad thing.

I love this game and want to keep it forever. I regret selling the first one Years and will have to buy it again. It's the kind of game that you can play again every few years and is still fun to go back and collect all the goodies!

This game was really fun, except the wizard duels were really difficult for me to master. Also, the graphics seemed more real than the ones from Years I love the lego humor in both games. The only part that stinks is when you go back through the levels to do extra stuff you have to do everything you did before such as fighting boss's and other things.

You basically play the levels again but you can choose which of the several characters you've unlocked that you want to play as--because you need certain characters which have certain abilities--basically to unlock stuff.
